Republican Crooks

I've seen several reports that criminal charges have been filed in Germany against a number of prominent Republican leaders - including Donald Rumsfeld and Alberto Gonzales. Seems some former inmates at Abu Ghraib are angry over their torture and treatment. Go figure.

The big questions will be, do the German courts have jurisdiction over American politicians?

From the Carpetbagger Report....

New legal documents, to be filed next week with Germany's top prosecutor, will seek a criminal investigation and prosecution of Rumsfeld, along with Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, former CIA director George Tenet and other senior U.S. civilian and military officers, for their alleged roles in abuses committed at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison and at the U.S. detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
The whole concept is intriguing - can you envision Rumsfeld going from the White House to the Big House? Or how about Alberto Gonzales with a new 6'8" 250 pound boyfriend? And I chuckle over George Tenet keeping his secrets as he's cozying up to two or three Hell's Angels at 2 in the morning.
Yee-Haw!
