Donald Trump's secret tax plan is none of your business

First, Donald Trump said he would raise taxes on the wealthy.

When asked Sunday on “Meet the Press” about taxing the rich, Mr. Trump said: “For the wealthy, I think, frankly, it’s going to go up. And you know what? It really should go up.”

It should. It really, really should. Only … no. Trump initially said the new top rate was going to cost him “a fortune.” But then, he weaseled. Or maybe the word is “Trumped.” Now he says the rate would go down, and he would actually pay less, only … he won’t reveal what rate he's currently paying.

The presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump continued to refuse to release his tax returns and today declined to reveal his tax rate.

Joining "Good Morning America" this morning, ABC News' George Stephanopoulos asked Trump what his tax rate is, and Trump simply replied, “It’s none of your business.”

As president, Trump would cut his own mysterious tax rate—but here’s what he did say about it.

“You'll see it when I release but I fight very hard to pay as little tax as possible,” Trump said.

So under Trump’s new tax rates, the government is going to pay him? That’s … probably been the plan all along.

And if Trump is willing to admit that he uses every trick to avoid paying taxes, just what is in those returns that he won’t reveal?
