I grew up in Rochester, NY on the north side near a company called Bastian Brothers. They made all sorts of small knick-knacks, collectibles, etc. - stuff that today is made overseas. And I can remember as a kid combing through their trash bins looking for discarded treasures. And I can remember finding vast stores of campaign buttons for Eisenhower. Man, how I wish I had saved some of that stuff - it would probably make me rich in retirement.
