Christians - better know your Bible.

I say that (title of this post) every so often, but as I read the news about shootings, racism and hatred, I begin to think that perhaps the violence and hatred taught in the Bible is the very reason some people are drawn to it. Funny how I was taught as a child that God was about love and compassion. It's a hard adjustment for me to learn otherwise.
