In an email to members on Thursday, the conservative Christian-based Family Research Council tried to link the Boston Marathon bombing to "the government's own hostility to the institution of the family" and "abortion, family breakdown, sexual liberalism, or religious hostility."
The email also tried to link the Boston Marathon bombing to "the government's own hostility to the institution of the family" and "abortion, family breakdown, sexual liberalism, or religious hostility."
The Family Research Council then claimed that a gun background check would not have stopped the Boston Marathon bombing, however, they failed to note that no mainstream gun control advocates have ever suggested that it would have.
The Family Research Council added that Jesus wanted people buy weapons, reported RightWingWatch.org.
