Ayn Rand

I speak often about the Christians who love to pick and choose the parts of the Bible they want to believe in. Some believe in Christ, but not the virgin birth, others believe only the New Testament and not the Old.

But it seems that this tendency on the part of conservatives reaches out to their political heroes as well. How many of the Ayn Rand lovers, she of the "every man for himself" political philosophy, reject some important parts of her philosophy, yet worship other parts? Seems to me you either buy the package, or move on to some other hero.

I came across the Ayn Rand/GOP poster.

Just picking up on your comment.
How is it that just about everyone that has an opinion on Ayn Rand, against Ayn Rand, thinks here philosophy is "everyman for himself"?

Even among those that claim to have read her non-fiction work. Of those, some lie.

I can tell you that this is not here philosophy, as I can tell anyone that insists it is.

I won't try and convince you, there is no point.

Just to ask:

By what means do you claim that knowledge to have been able to have written it?

Don't even answer me, I'm not interested in a debate. It's a question for you to ask yourself in silence, truthfully. Where no one will judge you. Just how is it that you have formed that knowledge. Ask yourself under those terms, and then again privately question yourself, why did I do that?

What else through your life have you excepted blindly?
