Where is the Discussion?
I am a liberal and I believe in a strong, centralized federal government in which we tend to the care of all of our citizens. Still, I remain a fiscal realist - we can't continue to buy our nation's prosperity with debt.
I am absolutely amazed that the size of the national debt is not more evident as the Democrats challenge the Republicans for control of Congress in just over 2 months. It is a debate that we need to have - now.
