The following is a long video (23 minutes) on the lives of Monks, the Christian Holy Leaders, during the dark ages. It is interesting from my perspective because of the Holiness factor - we assume that those who follow Christ most closely will somehow be better people than the common man (me). In fact, as recent revelations of the abuse of children by Catholic Priests has shown, they are often much more flawed than the rest of us. I suppose there is some reason behind this - they are most likely entering the priesthood for salvation for some deep flaws in their personalities.
