Iraq Deteriorates
Vice_president Dick Cheney is out of touch with the world and Iraq is falling deeper into its civil war.
In Iraq this past week the new government fired over 3,000 police and security officers and the local militias run amok. This morning, as I type this, President Bush is meeting with top military commanders to try to figure out what to do next. Being a simple-minded individual, it's very hard for him to change plans once he has made up his mind. Just tin time for elections, he'll try to abandon his "stay-the-course" philosophy.
