Daily shooting report

This morning's news reported that 19 young firefighters were killed in a blaze in Arizona. The story made me very sad and I'm sure it made a of of other people very sad that some fine young people had lost their lives. Do we feel the same sadness for the nearly 100 people, many of them fine people, some of them young, who lose their lives in shootings in the U.S. every day? Why doesn't that command an equal amount of news time? We need better gun control laws and we need them now.
