I hate war and everything it stands for - it legitimizes murder, torture and maiming all in the name of standing up for one's principles. But sometimes war is necessary to protect oneself. And despite my feelings about war, I have nothing but respect for those who serve in the military and represent us. The link below will take you to a very moving tribute to a fallen American soldier. It's only too bad that he's not alive to know how much people respect his sacrifice.
