Another rant

I simply do not understand the reasoning of elected Republicans. Do they really hate people and love money?

Yahoo news is reporting today that the Congressional Republicans are pushing a bill through both houses which will retract 125 million dollars originally pledged to New York City for the care and treatment of city workers injured during the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Tax breaks are given to the wealthy so that they can wallow in their cash, but health care is to be denied for those who gave of themselves to on 9/11/01 as they cared for their fellow citizens. Where do these Republicans come from? Are they spawned directly from the loins of Satan Himself? Do they take classes in how to behave like complete assholes, or do they come directly from the womb with this ability? When they wish to make political points of any sort, but most especially when they want to build support for their ridiculous war, they make reference to the calamity of 9/11, but they do nothing to support those who actually made sacrifices.

I am, once again, just beside myself over the cruelty and inhumanity of those who must often tell us about their love and devotion to God. In-fucking-credible.
