You are shit
That's right - unless you are Mitt Romney, or Mitt Romney-like, and are not in the top 1% of Americans in terms of wealth and aren't earning most of your income from dividends and corporate profits, then you are shit (according to Forbes).
According to the financial news magazine, your wages from labor should carry the entire nation's financial burden (perhaps you should pay all of it to Uncle Sam?) so that Mitt and his ilk can pay nothing. The 1%ers are so busy creating jobs and paying you wages for your lowly self to drag your body into the office, or onto the site, to work for them, that you should be thankful and grovel happily at their feet. The more you can give back to these wealthy barons, they happier they will be and the more likely they will let you crawl around their table of wealth gathering the few scraps that fall to the floor!
Oh! how lucky we are to have these saints bless us with their presence on this earth!

Mitt Flip-Flops
Modern American politics is replete with what may be called “Asterisk Republicans.” These are conservatives who adhere to the GOP’s ideological orthodoxy* until such time as someone they care about is personally impacted by it. Dick Cheney’s support for same-sex unions, Fred Thompson’s stand for the right of families to make end of life decisions for their loved ones and Orrin Hatch’s conversion on stem cell research are just some of the examples the GOP’s “for me, not thee” approach.
That’s what makes Mitt Romney’s gymnastic reversal on the reproductive rights of American women so unique – and all the more shocking. After all, years before Romney’s statement last week that Roe v. Wade constituted “one of the darkest moments in Supreme Court history,” he told Massachusetts voters he would “sustain and support it.” As it turns it out, Romney no longer mentions the "dear, close family relative" whose death from an illegal abortion once inspired his formerly "unwavering" pro-choice position.

Deregulation
As the Republicans are anxious to tell you, what we need in this country is more deregulation of business so that the businesses can make more money. After all, regulations cost the corporations money for compliance and increase the cost of doing business. This should lead to all sorts of good things, according to the right-wingers, like more jobs, more profits, etc.
One thing the Republicans never discuss are the downsides. Things like fraud, lost jobs as the wealthy horde even more of their profits taken from the middle class and the poor - and - oh yeah - the potential cost in lives and good health. Pollution (unregulated), global warming, and outright lack of concern for faulty, cheaper (unregulated) products.
To wit...

Taxes
Will more tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy really create more jobs? Highly suspect claim - they're not likely to build more product of there are so few people left who can afford to buy it.

Guns
When everyone has guns, then EVERYONE will have guns. Is that really what we want?

That's how they're feeling...
I think people vote for a party without thinking throught the issue - but their feelings about the government aren't always so negative...
Remember when?
Remember when the Republican mantra was, "America - love it or leave it?" Apparently, according to their dislike of the country President and the country these days, one must assume that they are busy packing their bags.
