Conservatives keep the LOLs rolling

I make a lot of typos (I post to 3 blogs every day, probably 30 to 40 posts) so I have to be careful not to dwell on the grammatical errors of others too much, but it does make it funny when they put it on a sign and go out to parade around with it.

Bought and paid for

Just in case you weren't convinced that our politicians were all bought and paid for, consider this from Daily Kos...

The United States of Corporation is here:

For the first time in recent history, the lobbying, grassroots and advertising budget of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has surpassed the spending of BOTH the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee.

Political Joke

A bus filled with politicians was driving down a country road one day when it ran off the road and crashed into a tree. The old farmer who owned the land heard the crash and he went out to investigate.

A few days later, the local sheriff came out looking for the missing politicos. He saw the crashed bus but he didn't see any of its riders. He asked the farmer where all the politicians were.

The farmer said, "I buried 'em... They're all out in my back 40."

"All of them?" asked the sheriff. "They were all dead?"

The old farmer replied, "Well, a few of 'em said they wasn't... But you know how them politicians will lie."

Political Joke

Speeding down a country road, a bus full of politicians swerved into a field and crashed into a tree. The farmer who owned the field went over to investigate. Then he dug a hole and buried all the politicians.

A few days later the sheriff drove by and saw the overturned bus. He knocked on the farmhouse door and asked where all the politicians had gone. The farmer said he had buried them.

"They were all dead?" asked the sheriff.

Replied the farmer: "Well, some of them said they were not, but you know how politicians can lie."
