Huckabee - Heck Of A Guy
Mike Hucakbee came in 2nd in the Republicans' South Carolina primaries. He's third, overall, in delegates won so far this primary season. How is it, I ask, in a nation which has both a black man and a woman running for office, can elect such a religious, racist and hate mongering fool to get so close to the White House?
In a speech just a few days ago, the Huckster told audiences that if anyone came into this home state of Arkansas and told folks to take down their Confederate Flags (a lasting symbol of the slavery states), he'd shove the flag pole up their ass.
And now it has been revealed that this favored son of the Republican party is a supporter of whites-only political groups. As recently as 1993, Mike Hucabee was making nice with an organization called the Council of Conservative Citizens, including making a recorded speech at one of their conventions. The CoCC has been declared a "hate-group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
My goodness - the Republicans must be so proud to have this religiously zealous, black-hating, pole-shoving asshole representing their great party.
