The U.S, is going to fall farther and farther behind in research and science because of our lack of willingness to invest in the future.

Better a poor adult die (rich folks can travel to other countries to get the health care they need) than to waste a few stem cells that could be just as easily discarded. Such is the brilliant man we have elected President.

The House gave final Congressional approval on Thursday to legislation aimed at easing restrictions on federal financing of embryonic stem cell research, but Democratic leaders in both chambers conceded they were short of the votes needed to override a veto threatened by President Bush.
