Conservatives know no logic

I'm seeing more and more posts on Facebook about how our little conservatives were treated when they were kids. They say, "If I had acted the way children act today I wouldn't be around to talk about it." Really? Their parents would have taken their lives? Good parenting skills, say I.

And another one touts the success of the spanking thing. Really? Despite study after study that shows that repeated spankings promotes violence? That it teaches children that the answer to most violence is more violence? Oh - wait - a lot of these people are the same ones posting that they want guns so that they can shoot intruders and people who scare them. It all makes sense now.
