False equivalencies

The news shows, the newspapers and the news magazines want to make it sound as if the Republican point of view is reasonable. It is not. Their views are mostly the uneducated, ill-informed rants of a group of quasi-insane individuals with virtually no basis in reality for their political positions. And, if we followed their lead, we would wind up as a broken nation populated by haters. It is time for the news outlets to stop giving them any credence whatsoever.
