Has she ever been tested?

Do you think Michelle Bachmann has ever been tested for signs of mental illness? It seems to me that it would be worth the time and the money.

I am a flaming liberal on social issues, maybe a bit more conservative on economic issues (a balanced budget, please!), but I don't see too many nut cases on our side of the fence. But someone tell me, please - help me out here - how does some complete nut job like Michele Bachmann get elected to congress (Minnesota)?
