Guns are dangerous for anyone.

Guns are dangerous, no matter who is handling them. We need strict controls over both users and the environment in which they are used. I don't want them eliminated - hunting is a legitimate use, as is target shooting at a range or in a secluded area. Even then, there will be accidents and misuse - but at least it's better than cities full of tens-of-thousands of guns with no purpose other than to shoot people.

The Onion has a great plan, presented in the form of a humorous news article, to raise capitla so the US can afford to fund its bailout plan - build a carnival style "dunk tank" and replace the clown with Dick Cheney. I'm sure the former Vice-President would oblige, since he loves the country so much.
