The answer is right here - the national debt. Fox news tells us that the national debt billboard in New York City had to add another digit as we crossed the ten-trillion dollar mark. Remember the good old days - when Bill Clinton actually had the U.S. paying down on it's debt? Ah - but what will REALLY solve the problem is more spending and more tax cuts!

The National Debt Clock switched its digital dollar sign to a 1 on Monday to accommodate the nation's ballooning deficit, now past the $10 trillion mark, thanks to Congress' $700 billion bank stimulus package.
