 I search through Google every day and Twitter a few times a week for news of shootings in the U.S. I almost NEVER see news of people using guns to protect themselves or others. This "self-defense" argument calling for the virtually unrestricted carrying of firearms is a major fantasy of those who feel inadequate in their lives and it is killing too many people.
