HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. – A 4-year-old child died after he was accidentally shot inside a car in Clewiston, according to investigators.

The Department of Children and Families confirmed the 4-year-old was pronounced dead after he sustained an accidental gunshot wound. DCF confirmed his older sibling found the loaded weapon in the car and the gun discharged.
