The newest version of GOP Health Care

Here we go again

Senate Republicans just released yet another version of their health care repeal bill, and it’s the same horrible bill but with an additional provision dubbed as extra “choice” that makes it even worse! The bill still guts Medicaid, taxes older Americans, doesn’t cover essential health benefits like maternity care, will cause out-of-pocket costs to skyrocket, defunds Planned Parenthood, and now -- adds “choice”, which would quarantine sick people into high risk pools and further strip away coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. And if that wasn’t bad enough, Mitch McConnell is delaying August recess for two weeks so he and his colleagues have even more time to pass the bill and take coverage away from millions of Americans. This means Senate Republicans have until August 11 to try to pass their legislation, but they’re diving right in and will take their first vote on it next week.
