Republican leaders only care about wealth.

From Robert Reich

House Republicans on the Ways and Means Committee have just opened the door to foreign money in U.S. elections by eliminating the requirement that nonprofit groups disclose to the IRS the sources of contributions they receive -- information that’s not available to the public but at least until now has been available to the IRS. Eliminating this reporting requirement makes it impossible to know whether foreign money is being spent illegally in a federal election through a nonprofit.

The president of a Koch brothers company, the Koch Companies Public Sector, is urging Congress to pass this legislation. Since 2011, the Koch brothers have successfully prevented any disclosure legislation passing the House, resulting in more than $500 million in secret contributions being spent in federal elections since 2011. Now they want to go even further.

Please contact your member of Congress and say no to foreign money in American elections.
