Religion is personal
Believers hold their beliefs sacred because they think it makes them (the believer) more special. Someone who is all powerful loves them and forgives them. So YOUR beliefs are shit, because YOUR special someone doesn't love them. It's a very selfish thing which explains why so many of them hate.
