Religiously speaking

Tax the churches. They are not poor and they are not staying out of politics. In some cities, the churches are so wealthy they may own 30% of the property that would be otherwise taxable, and you are making up the difference.

God is just playing with them. Or God is a made up thing and they are just hearing their own thoughts.
