BREAKING: A Federal Judge Just Struck Down Key Parts Of Trump’s Muslim Ban

By Grant Stern Posted on February 3, 2017

A federal judge in Michigan just froze Donald Trump’s horrific Muslim Ban executive order, which the President used to legally discriminate against permanent residents with green cards.

The Arab-American Civil Rights League filed their action in court yesterday after the White House issued a vague ‘clarification’, leading to widespread reports that Customs and Border Patrol was still detaining travelers in defiance of court orders. The state of Virginia even filed a motion to hold Donald Trump in contempt of court for violating previous orders to stop illegally imposing a religious test on American citizens and visa holders.

The sweeping order issued by federal judge Victoria A. Roberts, is effective nationwide immediately, just seven days after President Trump Bannon issued an order to close America’s border entirely to people born in seven predominantly Muslim countries. It’s also permanent:

The Court orders that the United States is PERMANENTLY ENJOINED from applying Sections 3(c) and 3(e) of the January 27,2017 Executive Order against lawful permanent residents of the United States. This injunction applies to Plaintiffs Samir Almasmari, Sabah Almasmary, Hana Almasmari, and Mounira Atik, as well as all other lawful permanent residents of theUnited States who are similarly situated.
This ruling will give relief to the upstanding immigrants living legally in America for years or decades, who did absolutely nothing wrong but wound up trapped in Donald Trump’s web of government racism. For example, a Chicago doctor has been suing Donald Trump over his flawed executive order, and now he will be able to come home after a weeklong ordeal, trapped on the other side of the planet.

American voters were duped into voting for Donald Trump because of his supposed business management skills, which any informed person would question for a man who was sued in court 3500 times in the course of his career. Trump has already been sued 50 times in just under two weeks in office, more than 4 times the rate at which Americans filed actions citing President Obama as head of state in 2009.

Expect more action in court as the Republican authoritarian regime in the Oval Office has now turned lawyers into the new first responders.
