I guess this feature in my blog gets a little repetitive, but what more can you say? It's not nearly so much about discussing the issues for conservatives as it is about standing their ground in a defiant manner to offend other people. A lot of this has to do with the fear that their way of life might undergo some change. Conservatism is so very much about maintaining the old morals and beliefs because any changes frighten them as they will need to adjust their own sensibilities and they find that they can't, or don't want to, change.
