Republican propaganda

Probably the biggest problem we liberals have is our continuing inability to understand the effectiveness of Republican propaganda. It seems that the bigger the lie, the more outrageous the claim, the more people of lesser intellect fall for it.

I apologize, in advance, to resorting to the Godwin principle here, but the quote below is so much in keeping with the point that I am trying to make that I can't help but turn to the master of propaganda to punctuate my claim.
